Optolectronics Department of St Petersburg Electrical Engineering University (EEU)

Graduate programs
in Optoelectronics , leading to Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, were instituted in 1973 through a joint initiative of the President of Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the Ministry of Higher Education of the Russian Republic. These programs provide a broad-based , high-quality education in the rapidly advancing scientific and technological aspects of electronics, microelectronics and optoelectronics. At Optoelectronics department the graduate curriculum is structured to bridge a gap between Physics and Engineering in the area of Optoelectronics and Lasers.
