8th International Reflectometer Workshop (IRW8)

The 8th International Reflectometry Workshop for fusion plasma diagnostics, will be organized in co-operation with the international Atomic Energy Agency by the Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute in St.-Petersburg, Russia. during 2nd - 4th May 2007 (to be confirmed).

The workshop will review the latest experimental results in reflectometry (profile and fluctuations studies), new technological developments and advances in the broad area of theory and simulation codes.

Presentations of 30 minutes are planned, including discussion.

The format of the workshop is informal, however, contributed papers are requested and the proceedings will be published on the web (http://plasma.ioffe.ru/irw8) and distributed on a CD.

Arrangements for accommodation will be made at the Hotel of the Physico-Technical Scientific and Educational Center, close to the Institute, at special rates.

Attendance at the Reflectometer Workshop is open to all. A modest registration fee (of the order of 200 Euro) is anticipated.

A broad participation is critical to the success of these workshops.
